Positive

What if we expect God to work like a microwave, when He’s really shaping us like a slow cooker? This message challenges us to rethink what it truly means to be redeemed—not as a transaction, but as a transformed life.

Through the story of the rich young ruler in Matthew 19:16–26, we’re reminded that following rules isn’t the same as surrendering our hearts. The young man walked away sad, not because he lacked obedience, but because he couldn’t let go of what mattered most to him.

God has already kept His promise through Jesus Christ. The question is no longer whether God is faithful—but whether we’re willing to open the door, trust Him fully, and allow Him to dwell in our hearts.
