Student Ministry
Sunday nights from 7-8:30 PM for grades 6-12
So what is Student Ministry? The purpose of student ministry is to create an environment where students can feel safe and loved, but can also continue or begin to grow their relationship with Jesus. We have bible study, games, worship, large group discussions and small groups to help the students get to know each other so that they can lean on each other and their leaders to help them through their life and their faith journey. If you have any questions or want to get involved, email Danielle at unitytech@unitycommunitychurch.org.

Danielle Mink

Danielle has been a student ministry leader for 13 years. Her favorite part is leading small groups and connecting with students. Her favorite game is Grog. She is married to Kenny, one of the high school boys leaders. They live in Plum and have a daughter and a dog. Danielle believes having a strong faith and strong mentors is extremely important for students heading off to college, which is why she works with the high school girls.

Alex Vaughn
Middle School Girls Leader
Alex’s favorite part of student ministry is creating relationships and hearing about everyone’s weeks. She always felt so welcome and at home at youth group thanks to her leaders, who were always willing to lend an ear and give advice in times of struggle, so she wanted to be that person for the students now. Her favorite game is “Bang the Bucket.” Her husband, Cory, is the middle school boys leader. She has been a leader for 2 years now.

Kenny Mink

Cory Vaughn
Middle School Boys Leader
Cory’s favorite part of student ministry is being in small groups and being able to teach/tell the students about the word of God. He decided to become a leader because he’s had a pretty hard life and wants to make sure that the students know that no matter how hard it gets, God will always be there. He has been a leader for 2 years now, and his favorite game is Grog.
